Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden, Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, utilised her amazing abilities as a writer and her formidable researching skills to write the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book The book, No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. It was derived from the title of a sermon that Joseph Smith delivered in 1844, when he shocked his hearers with his words: "You are not my friend and have not heard my voice. No one knows about my past. I'm not able to tell my story. The 29-year-old wrote Fawn in the moment when he spoke, at least three-score writers have picked up the gauntlet. These documents are not lacking, they just contradict each other. In order to assemble these documents- to separate first hand sources from a third-party plagiarism and then fit Mormon as well as non Mormon narratives together into a credible mosaic is no easy job. It is both interesting and an eye-opener. FawnBrodie devoted herself to the career path. The results of her study and writing made her immortalized with world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil drives (1959). The Story of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974) as well as Richard Nixon.
