Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5 January, 1986 (pronounced as [diPIka Paduko or [paDuko(pronounced as [paDuko]) is a famous Indian film actress. She is most often seen in films with a Hindi language. She is one of the actresses with the highest salaries in India Her awards includes the three Filmfare Awards. Her name is listed in lists for the country's most renowned stars; Time named her one of the top 100 influential individuals in the world in 2018 and awarded her The TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the professional badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. In her teens, Padukone competed in badminton tournaments on a national scale. But, she resigned from the sport to pursue a profession as a fashion designer. Padukone soon got offers for film roles, and she was first seen in 2006 with Aishwarya, the main character in the Kannada film, Aishwarya. Padukone was then cast in the double character of Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) the debut Bollywood film. The film was awarded Padukone the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone's role as the lead on the film Love Aaj Kal was well received, but it came with an unfortunate setback.
